About
Cheikh Tidiane SENE
Active in the voluntary sector since 2008, I am a community advocate passionate about local development, child protection, and the promotion of youth rights. My journey began with the Thioffack Students’ Association, where I served as Secretary General from 2008 to 2010, before becoming President of the Thioffack Conscious and Dynamic Youth Association from 2010 to 2017. Currently, I am the President of the Kaolack Municipal Youth Council and Vice-President in charge of Coordination for the Kaolack Regional Youth Council (a role I have held since 2016). My commitment has also led me to serve as the Regional Focal Point for the Youth Network for Promoting the Abandonment of Female Genital Mutilation and Child Marriage, and to be an active member of child protection committees at both the municipal and departmental levels. Alongside my work with associations, I am pursuing a professional career dedicated to community service, engaging in socio-educational projects, awareness-raising initiatives, and advocacy for the rights of youth, women, and children.

Regional Focal Point for the Youth Network for the Promotion of the Abandonment of FGM and Child Marriages, and an active member of communal and departmental child protection committees.

Engaged in the associative movement since 2008, leading socio-educational, awareness, and advocacy projects for youth, women’s, and children’s rights.
